A powerful amplifier that belongs to JL Audio's RD product series, the RD 1500/1 offers not only a top-notch bass output but also an exceptional audio quality that any would love to listen to all day. Equipped with modern technological features, this subwoofer amplifier can cope with any car audio system you put it into.

Self-oscillating Modulator
As with any power supply sag, this can be a problem for some devices like a car amplifier, as it can result in a distortion in the audio quality. To fix this issue, JL Audio developed its NexD Switching Technology, which uses a self-oscillating modulator that combines with the input signal to reduce any distortion from the fluctuation of the power supply.

High-quality Signal Processing Features
This amplifier also comes with high-quality signal processing features, as it has a bass boost control of up to +12dB and a variable low pass filter from 50 up to 500 Hz. It also uses JL Audio's trademark differential balanced inputs to reduce the noise coming from cables.

Produce an Rms Power Output of 1,500 Watts
Thanks to its Class-D amplifier, it can produce a power output of 750 Watts RMS per channel at 4 ohms and 1,500 Watts RMS per channel at 2 ohms. It is also a 1-ohm stable amplifier as it can produce an RMS power output of 1,500 Watts per channel. With a frequency response of 7 up to 500 Hz, the amplifier would not have any problem with how low it can get.
