Mono Subwoofer Amplifier
A compact mono subwoofer amplifier that is designed for marine and powersports applications, the JL Audio MX300/1 comes with an IPX7 rating, which means that it is waterproof. Its aluminum chassis is also resistant to the adverse effects of dirt, corrosion, and weather.
NexD Switching Technology
JL Audio MX300/1 utilizes the company's famous NexD Switching technology, which uses a self-oscillating modulator to help cancel out the noise that comes from the power supply voltage fluctuation. It is also equipped with differential-balanced inputs that protect the amplifier from the noise of the typical car audio wiring setup.
Class D Amplifier
Thanks to its Class-D amp technology, the JL Audio MX300/1 can deliver a power output of 160 Watts RMS at 4 ohms and 300 Watts RMS at 2 ohms. It also has a frequency response of 20 Hz up to 12 kHz.
Variable Low Pass Filter
JL Audio MX300/1 has a variable low-pass filter from 35 up to 300 Hz and a variable subsonic filter from 20 to 40 Hz, allowing you to tune the amplifier's frequency response and get the best audio quality out of it. Lastly, it has a bass boost of up to 12 dB for a better low-frequency performance from your audio system.
