Ideally made for powersports and marine applications, the JL Audio MX500/1 is a mono subwoofer amplifier that is capable of powering up your sub, whether it is on water or land. Its aluminum chassis has an IPX7 rating, which means that it is protected from water intrusion, and it can withstand the bad effects of being exposed to dirt, weather, and rust, so you won't have to worry about it.

Equipped With Differential-balanced Inputs
It utilizes JL Audio's NexD Switching technology, which uses a self-oscillating modulator, resulting in the amplifier canceling out the noise that comes from the fluctuations of the power voltage supply. It is equipped with differential-balanced inputs, which are made to protect the amp from the noise that comes with the usual wiring setup of car audio systems.

Allowing It to Deliver an Extensive Low-frequency Performance
The JL Audio MX500.1 can handle a continuous power output of 300 Watts at 4 ohms and 500 Watts at 2 ohms. It has a frequency response of 20 Hz up to 12 kHz, allowing it to deliver an extensive low-frequency performance with minimal distortion.

Has a Bass Boost
It comes with a variable low-pass filter and subsonic filter for a more defined audio quality from the amplifier. It also has a bass boost if you feel that it still lacks the low-frequency performance that you are looking for.
