Has a Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic Cone
This 2-way 5.25-inch speaker has a Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic cone and a High Altitude Multi-Roll surround, giving the durability needed for producing an accurate sound performance and excellent sound quality with improved power output.

Comes With a One-inch Silk Dome Tweeter
As a full-range speaker, it also comes with a one-inch silk dome tweeter and a neodymium magnet, giving the ability to produce an excellent high-frequency production with an extensive frequency range. The silk material also provides added protection to the tweeter, preventing it from blowing off quickly.

Can Handle an Extensive Frequency Response
The Alpine S-S50 can handle a power output of 55 Watts RMS and can reach up to 170 Watts of peak power at 4 ohms. With a sensitivity rate of 87 dB and a frequency response of 80 Hz up to 22 kHz, this 2-way speaker can handle an extensive frequency response and can also get loud with only minimal distortion.
